What is Q10 CoEnzyme? As
a naturally occurring ingredient, Q10 Coenzyme is one of the most
accurate biomarkers for aging since its decline is directly correlated
with the aging process. Individuals over the age of 30 begin to produce
less quantities of Q10 CoEnzyme, resulting in a steady decline in
production of collagen, elastin and other important skin molecules.
Topically applying Q10 CoEnzyme boosts skin repair and regeneration.
Also as an antioxidant, it reduces free radical damage.
What is MAP?
MAP
is short for Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate. MAP is a water-soluble
derivative of vitamin C. It's nonirritating and an overall better choice
than vitamin C for people with sensitive skin. t is widely used or its
advantageous properties such as inhibitory effects on melanogenesis,
promotion of collagen synthesis, and prevention
of lipid peroxidation. MAP plays an important role in preventing dry
skin, sunburn, chloasma and ephelides, and in keeping the skin healthy
and young.
What is Retinol?
Retinol
is pure and active Vitamin A. Vitamin A is one of the few substances
with a small enough molecular structure to penetrate the outer layers of
the skin and work to repair the lower layers of the skin where collagen
and elastin reside. This allows it to repair and stimulate collagen and
elastin, creating firmer, smoother skin. The new skin cells stimulated
by use of vitamin A start to more closely resemble the younger,
healthier skin cells of our youth. Use of vitamin A has also been shown
to stimulate new collagen production.
