OTHER ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol): DMAE fights against sagging muscles by promoting the production of acetylcholine, the chemical responsible for creating muscle tone. By triggering a response that tones the muscles, the result can be firmer, smoother skin with fewer wrinkles.

MAP (magnesuim ascorbyl phosphate): is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C that is rapidly gaining popularity in skin care. It's stand-out features are that it's nonirritating, and it's more stable than L-ascorbic acid. Research is also finding that it appears to be just as effective as ascorbic acid in the stimulation of collagen production. Overall, magnesuim ascorbyl phosphate appears to be a better choice than vitamin C for people with sensitive skin and those wishing to avoid any concomitant exfoliating effects. (Most vitamin C formulas are highly acidic and therefore produce exfoliation.)

Hyaluronic acid (Glycosaminoglycan) is highly praised for its ability to "reverse" or stop aging. Hyaluronic acid was nicknamed "key to the fountain of youth" because it is a substance that naturally occurs in humans and animals. As you age the level of hyaluronic acid present in your body gradually diminishes.

Matrixyl is a lipopeptide, a fatty acid mixed with amino acids. It is also considered to be a synthetic isomer. The active element in Matrixyl is called Micro-collagen, another peptide. Similar to copper peptides, Matrixyl stimulates the lower layers of the skin to heal themselves, thus accelerating the healing of wounds. Matrixyl simulates the "matrix" layers in the skin, primarily collage and fibronectin. When stimulated, the skin produces more collagen. Loss of collagen is what leads to thinning and wrinkling of your skin. Matrixyl helps to counteract this natural part of the aging process. In clinical studies, Matrixyl was show to increase overall collagen synthesis by up to 85%, increase collagen IV synthesis by up to 64%, increase hyaluronic acid synthesis by up to 67%.

Instructions: Apply a small amount of serum throughout face. Gently massage face with upward motions until serum has completely been absorbed by skin. Use twice daily, morning and night. In the event of irritation, discontinue use. Consult your dermatologist. Mild redness is expected while skin adapts to serum. We recommend, but it’s not necessary, to use Maximum Hydration Cream in combination with this regiment.
