What
it is: This hydrating mask will help brighten uneven skin
tone and gently diminish scars, dark spots and other skin discolorations.
Contains Ascorbic Acid and precious botanical extracts including grape seed and
green tea, which effectively penetrate into the dermis. Rapidly nourishes,
moisturizes, and whitens skin for a softer and more supple feel even after
first usage.
How
to use: Add one small teaspoon of ASDM Beverly Hills Pure
Whitening Mineral Powder to a small mixing container. Combine with a few drops
of water, until mixture has the consistency of lotion and Vitamin C has been
dissolved. Use immediately to avoid oxidation of Vitamin C. Using fingertips
apply a thin, even film from the neck upward. Avoid area around the eyes. Relax

Ingredients:
Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) Grape seed extract, Green
Tea extract, Aluminum, iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium. Trace Elements:
Titanium, sodium, barium, phosphorous, vanadium, copper, zinc, zirconium,
beryllium, calcium, chromium, cobalt, manganese, nickel, potassium, sodium,
strontium.
Kojic
Acid: Kojic Acid is a by-product in the fermentation
process of malting rice. Since the enzyme Tyrosinase contains copper, Kojic
Acid is able to effectively chelate (remove) the copper by lowering the PH
level around Tyrosinase. Once the copper cofactor is removed, Tyrosinase
activity is suppressed and hence so is melanin production. Since being
discovered by the Japanese in the early 1990s, Kojic Acid has become one of the
most favored agents to help combat hyper pigmentation.
Ascorbic
Acid aka Vitamin C: One of the most powerful antioxidants, directly
quenching radical species. Improves skin elasticity. Decreases wrinkles by
stimulating collagen synthesis. Reduces redness. Promotes wound healing. Suppresses
cutaneous pigmentation.
Grape
Seed Extract Grape seed extract: is a natural plant
product derived from the seeds of Vitis Vinifers L, a variety of wine grapes.
This extract is rich in Procyanidins, which effectively bind to free radicals,
guarding against damage to cellular membranes. Grape seed extract is also rich
in other compounds that are abundant in antioxidants, including: polyphenols,
flavonoids, and phytochemicals. This high concentration of these compounds
makes Grape seed extract a leader in antioxidant properties rivaling even
well-known sources such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
Green
tea Extract: Green tea is not fermented, thus it still retains
its polyphenols, natural antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body from
free-radical compounds that destroy healthy cells.
Arbutin:
Arbutin is a naturally occurring derivative of hydroquinone that is found in
the dried leaves of pear trees and other plants such as bearberry. It is a
structural homology of Tyrosinase, meaning that it has a similar structure as
Tyrosinase, but different type of activity. This results in Arbutins effective
inhibitory effects on Tyrosinase activity and thus melanin production.
