What is Skin Lightening?
Skin Lightening is a process that takes time
and once decided results are achieved it requires maintenance to keep the
results. Many people use this cream as a daily moisturizer because of its
naturally hydrating, wrinkle-fighting and skin firming properties. We only use
high quality ingredients such as Alpha Arbutin, Kojic acid dipalmitate. Alpha
Arbutin and kojic acid dipalmitate are ingredients with plenty of studies that

Acid, 2% Vitamin E Acetate (Tocpheryl Acetate), 3% Vitamin C (Magnesium
Ascorbyl Phosphate), 3% Licorice Root. Inactive: De-Ionized Water/Aqua,
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Pure Emu Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango
Butter), Steric Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf,
Optiphen, Rose Fragrant Oil.
More about the Active ingredients
Kojic Acid:
Kojic Acid is a by-product in the
fermentation process of malting rice. Since the enzyme Tyrosinase contains
copper, Kojic Acid is able to effectively chelate (remove) the copper by
lowering the PH level around Tyrosinase. Once the copper cofactor is removed,
Tyrosinase activity is suppressed and hence so is melanin production. Since
being discovered by the Japanese in the early 1990s, Kojic Acid has become one
of the most favored agents to help combat hyper pigmentation. Beta Arbutin: Beta-Arbutin is often referred to as just
Arbutin. As a natural extract found in bearberry
(Uva Ursi) plants, Arbutin also provides a skin
lightening effect on the skin by inhibiting
tyrosinase activity. Though arbutin is a natural
derivative of hydroquinone, it does not possess
the same risks or side effects. Arbutin has been
shown to be a very safe ingredient and does not
break down into hydroquionone very readily. Alpha Arbutin: Alpha-Arbutin is a biosynthetic active
ingredient that is pure, water-soluble and is
manufactured in a powder form. As one of the
most advanced skin lightening ingredients on the
market, it has been shown to work effectively on
all skin types. Licorice Root
Licorice Root
contains an active compound called Glabridin, which helps treat ailing skin
(dermatitis, eczema, skin irritation, etc.). It has anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant and skin whitening properties. When used for skin bleaching,
Glabridin may inhibit melanogenesis via two mechanisms : inhibition of the
production of active oxygen species or inhibition of Tyrosine. More research is
needed to fully understand how Glabridin affects melanin production, but
research has shown it to have great potential as a natural skin bleaching agent.
MAP (Magnesium
Ascorbyl Phosphate): MAP will be transformed by the skin enzymes into Ascorbic Acid
(vitamin C), an anti-oxidant and a cofactor for an enzyme crucial in the
synthesis of collagen (prolyl hydrolase). As an anti-oxidant agent, vitamin C
scavenges and destroys reactive oxidizing agents and other free radicals.
Because of this ability, it provides important protection against damage induced
by UV radiation (and the DNA mutations and cancer that may result from it). Also improves skin elasticity, decreases wrinkles by
stimulating collagen
synthesis, reduces redness, promotes wound healing and suppresses
cutaneous pigmentation. Because body control mechanisms limit the amount
of ingested
vitamin C available to skin, topical anti-oxidant therapy becomes an
efficient
way to target vitamin C directly to the skin. This is the "real"
ester-C, a more stable form of ascorbic acid and will stimulate collagen
synthesis.
Usage
Apply
twice daily morning and evening. Use sun screen SPF 80+ daily. Avoid
excessive sun exposure and wear protective clothing (example: hat) when
outdoors. Results take 7-8 weeks of daily usage to be appreciated fully.

I
have spend money and time to find the
right face cream for my skin type, however, I have found frustration with the
results, about 3 thousand dollars and countless hours in the mall and the
internet have gone. I was looking for something gentle that wont harm my face.
Many products that I tried were too strong or did not work for me. As cancer
survivor, my face got a hard hit with dark, brown spots due to chemotherapy. My
face was as if it had been burned. My skin complexion is medium light and I
